Tomorrow night on the WWE Network, WWE will be airing the last match featuring The Shield for the foreseeable future. WWE recently moved Roman Reigns to SmackDown and kept Seth Rollins on Raw, but Dean Ambrose will also be leaving the company at the end of the month. During an interview on WWE’s YouTube channel, Reigns revealed that he did not try to convince Ambrose to stay with WWE. Instead, he and Rollins both wished him well on whatever he decides to do next with his career and said that they just want their friend to be happy. The Shield will go down as one of the most successful stables in modern WWE history, but Reigns and Rollins are confident that Ambrose is going to do well in life after he’s gone.

During last night’s tapings for NXT UK, a new addition to the NXT UK roster made her debut. None other than German star Jazzy Gabert arrived by aligning herself with Jinny. Fans in attendance noted that they both interrupted a match between Xia Brookside and Killer Kelly. Gabert has competed in Germany as Alpha Female for years, but she had an impressive performance in the first Mae Young Classic tournament back in 2017. Gabert later said that WWE offered her a contract but rescinded their offer due to her history with neck injuries. However, the company confirmed that she joined NXT UK earlier this year, and she has now made her debut. Expect to see Jazzy Gabert appear on an episode of NXT UK very soon.

I was stoked to see @Jazzy_Gabert on both nights in @NXTUK awesome!

Even though he appeared on television last night, Eli Drake is still no longer part of the Impact Wrestling roster. PWInsider informed fans that Impact’s shows are taped several weeks in advance, which is why he is still competing for the promotion even though Impact fired him earlier this month. The report also noted that Drake was terminated due to a breach of contract on his end, and he could possibly be prevented from signing with another major wrestling promotion for a year. Drake could sue Impact and claim that he did not violate the terms of his contract, but he has yet to do that or even comment on the matter. In the meantime, the former Impact World Champion will still be able to wrestle for independent promotions.
