Nah nah nah nah… Well, you know the rest.

Kevin Owens defeated Shane McMahon in a hard-hitting ladder match tonight in the FOX debut of Friday Night Smackdown, ridding the WWE Universe of the so-called “best in the world” for good. Or at least for however long “for good” means in pro-wrestling terms.

The two have been going at it for years – seriously, it has been two full years since their Hell in a Cell match took place – but it would appear that the rivalry is finally over. Per the stipulations of the bout, both stars signed termination papers that were placed into a briefcase, with the loser leaving WWE.

Shane O’Mac delivered an elbow drop through the commentary table, went coast-to-coast through a ladder and more, but in the end Owens was able to retrieve the briefcase and send his foe packing with one last stunner for good measure.

When you're career is on the line, you have to pull out ALL THE STOPS!

Case and point: @ShaneMcMahon in this #LadderMatch! #SmackDown @FightOwensFight
