— Matt Hardy’s contract with WWE is set to expire on March 1, 2020, reports pwinsider.com and at this point the two sides have not come to an agreement on a new deal. The report adds that the major stumbling block appears to be related to creative, specifically how WWE will use Hardy moving forward, rather than financial terms of the contract. Matt has seemingly been hinting at or perhaps preparing for an exit from WWE with his series of “Release the Delete” videos that he posted online over the last part of 2019.

— Jeff Hardy meanwhile signed the same contract as Matt but his deal isn’t expiring in March like his brother. This is because WWE has decided to add on time to his contract due to his inactivity – both due to injury and his ongoing legal issues. Hardy is still due in court next week for a DUI charge and with that in mind, WWE has been pushing for him to get the appropriate help he needs to improve his health situation. According to the report above, Jeff has been working hard as of late to get that help.
