Vince McMahon announced weeks ago that the Women’s Tag Team Championships will be coming back this year. The design of the new championships were unveiled during Raw last week, and Alexa Bliss also confirmed that the first titleholders will be crowned during the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view next month. In a new report from Cageside Seats, it was noted that a team from the Raw brand is expected to win the titles. This could mean that Bayley & Sasha Banks, Nia Jax & Tamina, The Riott Squad, or any additional Raw team will be winning the championships during the event. According to previous reports, it is also believed that the champions will defend the titles against team from both Raw and SmackDown.
It was reported a few days back that Harper and Rowan are both expected to return to WWE television very soon. Both men were working together on SmackDown as The Bludgeon Brothers before they each went down with injuries. In an update posted on PWInsider, Harper was spotted in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida earlier today. Harper is likely visiting the facility in order to train for his in-ring return. It has been reported in the past that Harper and Rowan are good to go at this point and could be back on WWE programming at any point. Whether they return separately or as The Bludgeon Brothers once again, expect to see these former SmackDown Tag Team Champions return later on this month.
Another member of the Impact Wrestling roster could be on his way out of the promotion very soon. Kevin Matthews, better known as KM, posted some interesting details on his current contract with Impact. According to Matthews, he only has 45 days remaining on his deal. KM often appears on Impact television to team up with Fallah Bahh, but he could be getting ready to take the next step in his wrestling career if his contract with Impact is not renewed. Matthews has been wrestling since 2000 but he officially joined Impact Wrestling back in 2017. He appeared on this week’s edition of Impact for a segment with Brian Cage. KM’s future with Impact Wrestling will likely be revealed at some point within the next few weeks.
